The Discipline of Decide and Do
Looking back on 2023, are there things that you have hoped to accomplish, but you have not?
Looking back on 2023, are there things that you have manifested which you never expected to or dreamed of?
If, for 2024 you want to get more done in those 12 months than you have in the past many years, there is one tip that I can share with you, and I don’t want you to take it lightly.
If you are serious about making that change, starting that project, growing that consulting business…than you must shorten the time between ideas and implementation, or what I like to call the Discipline of Decide and Do.
This is a Discipline which when I connect the dots going back over the years, is tried and true, 100 % of the time.
Take for instance Beyond the Labs Cohort, Training, Coaching and Community. This was created almost as a challenge from Kay Corpus MD. We were talking, I was sharing my idea of creating a cohort of teaching what I know, what I deemed to be the perfect evolution of pharmacy, the new paradigm.
Where a pharmacist becomes the expert in Medication Management- Reading and Evaluating labs- Creating protocols based on lifestyle, movement, rest and repair, as well as nutraceutical supplementation.
Kay said, “do it! Write that email, send it out,” and voila!
And from there a pharmacist can create their own coaching program or collaborate with a physician or practitioner of another discipline, but like minded.
The value that a pharmacist can bring to a any other practice, or in their own is limitless, underrated, and underachieved.

I see it every day in Beyond The Labs.
The wins my students are having, and each win is very much in line with The Discipline of Decide and Do.
One particular pharmacist, brand new to functional medicine. Began the training late summer, put together his own blog, wrote three meaningful, relatable articles, and now- first client- all in the blink of an eye.
He decided and did on so many levels.
I want you to focus on the potential and possibilities, and for a moment, suspend that voice in your head that has been talking you out of reaching your potential and possibilities all these years.
Don’t you think it’s time to do what lights you up, and get rewarded for it?
