The Next Step in Your Functional Pharmacy Career:
A case-based training for clinicians who want to move beyond protocols and develop deeper physiologic reasoning.
Most clinical education focuses on what to use.
This program focuses on how to think.

Why Many Interventions Fall Short
In functional and integrative medicine, clinicians have access to more tools than ever:
• peptides
• hormones
• advanced lab testing
• targeted supplementation
And yet, many cases remain complex.
Two patients can present with:
• similar symptoms
• similar lab results
…and respond completely differently to the same intervention.
Because the missing piece is often not the tool — it’s the context.
Most approaches move quickly from:
symptom → intervention
Without first understanding:
what direction the physiology is actually moving.
A Different Clinical Lens
A Different Clinical Lens
Orientation-Based Medicine introduces a structured way to interpret physiology before selecting interventions.
The framework is built on three steps:
Orientation
What direction is the physiology moving?
Examples:
• stress / survival
• inflammation / repair
• metabolic compensation
• immune activation
Capacity
Does the system have the ability to respond?
Assess:
• nervous system regulation
• detox pathways
• gut integrity
• circulation
• nutrient status
Intervention
Only after orientation and capacity are understood do we select:
• peptides
• hormones
• supplements
• lifestyle strategies
Core Idea
Better outcomes come from aligning interventions with physiology — not just targeting symptoms.
What This Training Covers
This is a case-based clinical training designed to help you apply the OBM framework across real patient scenarios.
Topics include:
• inflammation and immune signaling
• adrenal and cortisol patterns
• thyroid and metabolic adaptation
• gut and microbiome considerations
• sex hormones as physiologic signals
• cardiometabolic physiology (insulin, lipids, energy balance)
• cognitive health and neuroinflammation
• peptides and advanced interventions
Each module focuses on:
• pattern recognition
• lab interpretation in context
• clinical reasoning
• intervention sequencing
This program will continue to expand with additional case studies and clinical applications.
Founding Access
This is the first time Orientation-Based Medicine: Clinical Applications is being offered.
Founding members receive:
• early access to the training
• ongoing updates as new case studies are added
• the ability to grow with the framework as it develops
